Plan amendments and Zoning cases presented by John Peterek, Interim Assistant City Manager; Amin Tohmaz, Interim Director, Development Services unless otherwise noted.  ]

RIGHT. TODAY WE HAVE OUR FULL ZONING AGENDA.

WE HAVE A FEW ITEMS THAT WILL BE CONTINUED. WE HAVE 18 ITEMS TODAY.

ITEM 7 AND 12 WILL BE CONTINUED TO NOVEMBER 21ST ITEM 5 WILL BE -- EXCUSE ME, ITEM 10 AND 11 WILL BE CONTINUED TO DECEMBER 5TH. ITEM 17 WILL BE CONTINUED TO DECEMBER 19TH. THE ONLY OTHER TWO ITEMS TO BE HEARD INDIVIDUALLY ARE 8 AND 9. SO AT THIS TIME THE REMAINING ITEMS ARE ON CONSENT. I'LL ASK MY COLLEAGUES IF THERE ARE ANY ITEMS TO PULL FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA. OKAY. I'M A BOARD MEMBER OF TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

WE'LL ASKING THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE ITEM NUMBER 13.

THIS IS ON THE LIST OF THE REZONING REQUESTS IN DISTRICT 7.

WE HAVE A SCHOOL BUILDING AT 6800 WURZBACH ON THE CHURCH PROPERTY SO WE WOULD LIKE THE AREA REZONED FOR A DAY CARE. WE KNOW THERE'S A NEED FOR A DAY CARE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD. THERE'S GLENN OAKS AND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL THAT PARENTS WOULD FIND VERY CONVENIENT TO USE.

THIS WOULD GREATLY BENEFIT ALL CITIZENS OF SAN ANTONIO. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND

MY SISTER BOUGHT THE PROPERTY A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE PLANNING TO OPEN A PAINT AND BODY SHOP. WE ALREADY SPOKE WITH THE NEIGHBORS AND THEY GAVE US A NOTARIZED SUPPORTING LETTERS. AND THE ZONING COMMISSION APPROVED THE CHANGE, SO WE'RE HERE -- WE'RE HOPING THAT YOU WILL -- THAT WE CAN

THIS PROPERTY WAS RECENTLY ANNEXED INTO THE CITY. THE BUILDING WAS THERE PRIOR TO ANNEXATION AND THE APPLICANT RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM ADJACENT NEIGHBORS TO REZONE FOR A NEW BODY SHOP AS STATED EARLIER. AND IT'S CONSISTENT WITH OTHER USE IN THE AREA SO FOR THOSE REASONS I MAKE A MOTION TO SUPPORT.
